Expressions of Interest for Round 6 of the Liberal Government’s Stronger Communities Programme are now closed. Grants for small capital projects between $2,500 and $20,000 are available to incorporated entities (not for profit; local government agency or body; trustee on behalf of a property trust with responsibility for a community asset). For this special round, the grant funding can cover up to 100 per cent of the project costs, except for local governing bodies which can apply for up to 50 per cent.

Expressions of Interest for the Powering Communities Program are now open. Grants of between $5,000 and $12,000 are available to help organisations in Swan lower energy costs, support local jobs and help reduce global emissions.

Applications for the Morrison Government’s $30.2 million Local Schools Community Fund are currently closed. Local schools in Swan are eligible to apply for funding of $1,000 to $20,000 towards a school project that will make the biggest difference to their students’ education. Funding for small-scale extensions or classroom refurbishments, new computer facilities, mental health and counselling services, playground equipment, library resources, or sports facilities are all covered through this Fund.
